When we were away on holiday recently we didn't have wifi access for much of the time.  It was an interesting experience.  We thought it would be a problem but it really didn't prove to be.  Our nearest and dearest knew how to contact us if they really needed to.  We actually enjoyed not looking at the news and responding to the 'ping'.  Now that we are home, we are both back in the groove but it is great to escape occasionally.
