Lincoln Memorial, Washington DC

I woke up in Washington DC this morning! I’ve not been here for a very long time! Most of the morning was spent watching the cross-country ski races taking place in Sweden. I took a nap in between. I finally went out to get something to eat. It was sunny but very cold in DC. I still managed to sit outside eating my lunch! I was bundled up but the sun was shining on me! Another winter picnic!

I had a few blip possibilities from Washington Circle where I ate my lunch, but on the way to the airport a little later, the driver took a different route than the normal one, and suddenly I saw the Lincoln Memorial - this was a quick snap through the window of the van!! A drive-by shot!
