snow day cakes

I was very grateful for the snow day as was still in a lot of pain after yesterdays fall but I did some hula hooping late morning which helped to sort out the pain in my lower back and I felt much better. Actually achieved a fair bit with my day off including these lemon and poppy cakes, the icing stage wasn;t entirely successful and as you can see the first batch were a bit overdone!

I then watched It's Complicated and did some ironing before making a chilli for dinner, exciting stuff!!

we very luckily have a late start tomorrow which is also very welcome. So lucky!
