Au revoir
Neil called for us midday and we went to the wonderful restaurant for lunch, I had dauphinoise potatoes and chicken supreme and it was divine!
Pleasant flight back chatting away with Alexandra, lovely to see uncle John at the airport briefly.
Great to be home, Max met me at the station and we watched Spartacus (the original movie from 1960), excellent. Zebedee was at home but Gulliver was at Erin’s.
I was very sad to hear of the untimely passing of Andrew Weatherall, he signed my first ever record in 1989, ‘don’t dream it’s over’ by less stress featuring Katherine Wood (my maiden name).
