The rotten weather meant all footie was off so also and Ian could join us for some UNO after ringing. There is added incentive to win some games this month as I have got a wooden spoon trophy for the loser this time around.

We’ll find out next week who gets the trophy and who gets the spoon. Leo is out in the lead at the moment so let’s hope he hangs on in there as I don’t think he has won yet!

Leo had another good Bellringing lesson and is starting to get the hang of setting at hand and backstroke - he is learning really fast.

The rest of us have madly agreed to enter a striking competition in June , so we have until then to try and master Plain Hunt to a decent standard. Very sensibly the Tower Captain has decided to enter 3 teams - one competent team that can ring it well then two other teams with a mix of competence and incompetence! Will be interesting to see just how badly we clash our way through it!
