I bought a Ring Ouzel Badge as well as the book RED67

This book features the 67 Red Listed UK breeding birds.  A different contributor has written the text on each bird and a different artist has provided the illustration 

Extra Photos of individual pages of Whinchat and Merlin.

An impressive publication but such a shame that so many of these birds are heading for local extinction. It’s not all bad news, some are recovering in numbers and some birds that would have included if the book had been created in the past are now no longer at risk.  But as a snapshot it is fascinating.
