Cheeky

We've had a very friendly male chipmunk on the doorstep for the last few days. One of their two breeding cycles is from February to April, so I suspect he is visiting some females in their burrows.

He's a returning customer I'm sure because he is very tame. He stays on the doorstep when I go out with more seeds or peanuts. The weather is so strange without snow, a lucky thing for him.

This day came in sunny and in the 40s F, very warm for a New England February.
