St Monans Harbour, East Neuk of Fife

St Monans is one of the chain of attractive fishing villages that line the north shore of the Firth of Forth in what is known as the East Neuk of Fife. It lies between Elie and Pittenweem.  It is like stepping into a much slower-paced world. During a blink of sunshine a group of fisherman gathered in the distance. The whitewashed houses stand out in this monochrome photo.
