No Ferry today (MM317)

Looking up river and also up at the sky after the rains brought by storms Caira and Dennis.  The chain ferry jetty in Stratford has vanished into the river, and I don't imagine anyone will be using the benches on the far side for several weeks.  However - there does not look to be any other damage and I would guess Warwickshire has escaped the serious problems seen elsewhere.  

Edit: little did we know that the consequences of the pandemic would have much greater consequences ....

There was a brief burst of sunshine between the showers this afternoon - see extra.
