Double Figures!

10.02.20
And just like that Miss L is 10!!!
We’ve had a decade of her happiness, excitement, giggling, crazy faces, cuddling, dramatic voices, toilet humour and silliness.
She has grown into such a lovely person, so kind, caring and unselfish.
We are so lucky!!!
She had a great day today. Presents before school and bacon for breakfast. Punctuality be damned!!!
She asked for pigtails for the first time in years (see extras) and looked so cute!
After school Nana and Papa came round and then we all headed off to Nando’s in Milton Keynes, picking up Mr K on the way. He’s working in Milton Keynes, whoop whoop, the closest he’s ever worked to home in the fourteen years we’ve been together!!
We went to the arcade before eating. The Little Misses (not so little now!!) do love an arcade! Miss L won millions of tickets as usual and Miss E shot at zombies!!!
They loved it. And loved the giant lollies and sweets they chose as prizes. As usual saving up their tickets for next time. Hopefully one day they’ll have enough for the giant LCD TV!!!!!
Miss L loves Nando’s! Chicken wings, unlimited fizzy drinks (all mixed up in one glass, yuck!!) and unlimited frozen yoghurt (which tonight she declared tasted weird so I selflessly ate it for her.
It was snowing on the night she was born - the car park was icy and I couldn’t walk having continuous contractions because of the as yet undiscovered prolapsed cord. They had to wheel me into the hospital in a wheelchair.
Miss L always loves the fact that it snowed on her birthday.
As we sat in Nando’s tonight, out of nowhere appeared a raging snow blizzard outside. It was amazing!! It didn’t last long and had turned to sleet by the time we left but Miss L was giddy.
I’d brought the cake with us to have in the restaurant but accidentally left it in the car so Nana and Papa came back to ours for the candle blowing and a slice of cake.
Miss E was very grown up and lit the candles and carried the cake in (see extras) Gone are the days where she struggled with her sister having any of the limelight.
So many candles and so much smoke!
Double figures baby girl. I couldn’t love you more x
