Shelf Life

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellows, 

This is the shelf that runs around the stairwell. It is PERFECT for cats. They don't have to leap up - just join it at the top of the stairs - then follow it around as they get higher and higher off the ground. 

Punky LOVES it. He's there all the time. Caro was annoyed.

"F*ck's sake," she said. "That was supposed to be my bookshelf."

But no. Now it belongs to Punky. He loves to be the Master of All He Surveys. And Caro doesn't mind really. She's been having a lot of fun ordering things for the house. 

I got home from work today and she is gradually shaping it into the house we want it to be. I think we're all feeling a lot more relaxed today. Oh, apart from Punky who saw a black cat in the back garden and did a big hiss.

Back up to higher ground, Punky. You show him who's boss.
