The Sprawl

Mountains beyond mountains.

This afternoon I went for a walk up Cowrake quarry with Zeph just outside of Penrith. We went up to the pylons and to the view over the back of Strawberry Hill looking towards Langwathby, quite a bizarre place to say the least. During the whole encounter we were approached by a barking dog, the owner said it was my tripod causing the dog to howl; my tripod ain't some fancy stick. On the way back down I got this shot of Penrith from under the trees. The zig zaging walls and fences really made it for me. A rather flat day for weather.
