Mono Monday . . . Looking Up

I placed myself down slope from a Cabbage Tree in the garden and pointed the camera up.  The flip out screen came in handy so I could see what to focus on.  The ground was damp which was my excuse for not lying down.  I liked all the old strap like leaves of the Cabbage Tree clumped together.  I think the other tree is a Five Finger.  
There is a heavy layer of grey cloud hanging over us but it has only given us a sprinkling of moisture.
I was very pleased to be finally caught up with the journals I follow.  It won't last for long.  The forester has had the calendar out planning future excursions.
