For whom the bell tolls .....

To our local shop first thing to get the Sunday newspaper. I still like a paper newspaper at the weekend.

Adjoining is the local church. It’s a 30+ year building. The bell attached is older - a remnant from an older church.

Reading the Sunday newspaper can be a depressing thing. The world is changing fast, and change is inevitable and very necessary, especially as we face the challenges of climate change. . But some of what is happening or is promised by our present government is worrying. I do wonder where we are heading.
