King of the beasts

What an amazing weekend we had in the Addo National Park. The best part is being able to go into the reserve early in the morning - 5 30am, before the day visitors arrive.
 We were so fortunate to see this magnificent lion..beautiful morning light, very few other cars. Not only this sighting, but many other special ones.
But, oh it was hot...40 deg C. We were parched. Thank goodness for an air conditioned car!!
I will sleep well tonight.......
