We were both kept awake in the night by the storm, it was so loud! As a result we were up quite late, but had time for crumpets before Matt left for work.

I spent the day taking my bed apart (more difficult than I remembered) and doing the last few bits of packing.

I’m becoming quite a pro at moving house now - I’ve got a little suitcase with stuff I’ll need for the next few days (I’m back to work on Tuesday) so I don’t need to worry about panic-unpacking. I also have a bag of essentials for moving day - mugs and teaspoons, tea and coffee, loo roll, hand soap, biscuits. Gotta keep the troops happy!
