Fairtrade

This wasn't the photo I had planned to post today.

After our church service this morning I went round the back into the kirkyard and crouched myself down behind a large clump of snowdrops. With my point-and-shoot camera in hand I took several shots with the snowdrops in the foreground and the church behind. At first glance in the viewfinder some of the shots looked reasonably good and I went away quite happy.

Later, when I came to upload them, I discovered a couple of spots of rain or dust had got onto the lens and there were a couple of noticeable smudges on what were otherwise reasonable shots. Hurrumph! Especially as I had been asked to take some snowdrop shots for next year's calendar. Oh well, another trip down the road beckons when the weather improves.

I had earlier taken some pictures of our Fairtrade stall on my mobile phone. We run that on the third Sunday of every month and the photos will be used to advertise future events. One of them will need to double up as my Blip for today.
