Orrest Head

It was nearly a really good journey up, well apart from sections of the A1 resembling Atlantis. A few soggy diversions and we were back on track. 

The house in Windermere is good, and bang in the middle of town so after a quick trip to Booths to stock up on provisions H and I had a walk up Orrest Head.

It was very windy, these people really were clinging on to each other for dear life. 

It was good to get out in the fresh air, it's always a great view, even with the clouds coming in.

We took a different route back and met a Gruffalo (see extra) and then went for a well earned pint.
