Storm Dennis.................

Continues. Wind and rain, not very pleasant today. But as the rain eased I took a run in the car over to Westward Ho! at high tide, see the little unhappy turnstone in the extra. Then decided to take the back way to Appledore along the Long Lane, which was flooded in several places, so the going was slow. Stopped at the old slipway,  which goes into the  Skern.

Then headed home, as I approached my roundabout, a small fire truck, blue lights flashing, followed by a smaller vehicle towing a rib boat, was heading towards Fremington. So hope all was ok after they got to where they were going.
