Happy Birthday, Joe!

Dear Diary,

The "Irish Rovers" (minus one), the group that went to Ireland with me last May, gathered again at a local restaurant to celebrate my cousin Joe's birthday which was on Valentine's Day.  We had a lovely time, as always, and chatted a bit about our next adventure to Scotland when we will become the "Wallace Wanders".  One of our group is descendant from the Wallace Clan so we will don our tartan's in her honor (I already have a scarf!) and explore some of my favorite places in the Highlands and the Outer Hebrides.  I've included an insert of Joe in 1952 ,when he was just a bonny wee laddie, with my dad.
