12 years go today my wife gave birth to our first child. Finley James Armitage was born at 7.30pm. That evening as I held my tiny little boy in my arms we looked out at the huge clock of the church opposite the hospital and the snow started to fall.

Today - the snow had fallen overnight allowing Finn a snow day from school. This evening about 7.30pm our big twelve year old boy was blowing out the candles on his cake. Poignant blip. xx Happy birthday Finn xx
