Devastation.

You can't really see the amount of damage, that has been done in this area, from this photo.

But there has never been any water in this park.  A few years ago they cleared it all out and re-planted the trees.

Now a lot of those trees have been ripped out of the ground.  Such a shame as they were just getting really established.

Later on I went to the cemetery.  There was a notice saying because of the amount of water, some of the graves had been damaged, and they would be doing restoration work as soon as possible.

Luckily, Christian's was alright.

Another hot day, the ground is drying out nicely.
