This summer I have tried to grow tough plants. These have been hand watered over summer and survived so they must be tough.

Despite all the flooding along the coast the inland has not been so lucky with rain. I saw an article today which reviewed the 55 towns in our state that were in danger of running out of water in the next 12 months. That has been reduced to “only” 45. Some have only a couple of months of water remaining.
