Blanket progress ...

Seeing as baby is due in a couple of weeks, I decided today I needed to get on with making the blanket. As a novice crochet person, it is slow progress ...... :)

Tub club - half a pound off this week (better than a gain) :)

Visit from our son and daughter-in-law and Caleb this afternoon, they had taken him to the Lexicon for the half term explore/competition finding the paw patrol characters around town - he had a lovely time with uncle Chris and auntie Sophie. Mummy popped in later to pick him up ...... still playing with the digger and rubble that he was treated to :)

This evening we went over to our neighbours for a re-run of New Years Eve that had to be cancelled at the last minute as one of their children was poorly with a bug. Lovely to catch up with neighbour news ....... alcohol (and soft drinks) were free flowing. I did taste a Jägerbomb jelly as well as a rum gummy bear - wow both very strong! Should sleep well tonight ..... although Dennis is making his presence known! :)
