Icy walk....

Decided to go for a walk, rather than a swim today. Fool!

The gently falling snowflakes had me thinking of winter wonderlands - instead it was a miserable walk along the canal in driving sleet and icy winds.

The 'road' to the left of the blip is actually the canal, frozen, and with a thin layer of snow on it.

It seems Edinburgh has got off lightly, weather wise.
