Blossom
Snapped at Tulse Hill station while basking in the sunshine on the platform.
Morning saw me in a local cafe sharing ideas for Feast activities – we have plans and they're fun.
Fred and I spent some of the afternoon at the British Library's Buddhism
exhibition. The favourite part was the first half looking at the beautiful artworks, hundreds of years old, and listening to the recorded sounds of nature. Indeed, nature is prevalent throughout the exhibition in the images painted on the scrolls and the illuminated books (trees, sea, blossom, birds, elephants).
In the evening we headed to Bromley's Churchill Theatre to see Milton Jones, who was suitably funny. My favourite: "They told me to consult the UN. Well it's only a bit of fun."
The support for Milton was Tom Houghton and the crowd was tough to say the least. Poor man didn't get any laughs for too long a time. I cringed when he made impersonations of lads down Bromley high street. Arrrgh! He's impersonated a great deal of the theatre audience and not in a good way. However, he found a Geordie in the audience who was talkative and we all breathed a sigh of relief. Phew.
