Going Bananas

I should have been on duty at Longshaw today. I was relieved when the Duty Ranger texted to say he was closing it for visitors due to the impending arrival of Storm Dennis. Driving through the battering wind and rain, then standing in a small building watching the battering wind and rain for 7 hours with very few visitors to talk to is not my idea of fun.
