Salt Mills Spooky window.
Had a day out in Salt Mills in Saltaire, Yorkshire.
Can very highly recommend. Amazing buildings of a visionary industrialist who was both entrepreneur and philanthropist...Titus Salt...brought all the mill processes together with canal, railway, good housing, school and hospital. At it's peak it was producing 18 miles of cotton a day! Today it's an amazing museum, fabulous bookshop, crafts, and...top floor AMAZING David Hockney exhibition due to his patronage locally. He is now prolifically painting by Ipad...and they are stunning! Was spoilt for choice with blips! But love this shot if window that catches ghostly figures of mill workers on blinds....but the lighting meant I got the outside landscape of moors too. Weird but lovely and appropriate result! Oh...and also great cafe!
