I still prefer the human touch

I’m back in my Gatwick airport hotel after a year and I can see a few changes. Fewer staff and you can order your drinks, food etc on a console on the table. Not my idea of a welcoming place to stay. I definitely prefer people. 

I was worried by the weather reports and the plane cancellations, but I checked in for tomorrow and braved it early. 

The rain eased for a while after Oxford, and I arrived in time to watch Forest suffer at the hands of a really dreadful referee ! West Brom got away with all sorts of stuff. 

Crazy early flight tomorrow but I’m safely here, armed with smoked salmon sandwiches (and red wine) and relaxing.

And hoping this silly Dennis doesn’t stop my flight.
