Winter Light

There's something magical about winter sunlight. I love this time of the year here!

Well, after being out all day yesterday, I was extremely happy to stay put today and not venture out at all, hence the indoor picture... Sadly, our beautiful cool days are coming to an end. The temperature is forecast to shoot up to 30deg C for the rest of the week.

G made bacon and eggs for breakfast and this was followed by "chilling" in front of the TV with me doing some admin for yesterday's work. I like to say we were chilling, except G caught the beginnings of a mini-series on NatGeo called The Hot Zone. It was based on true life events around the subject of highly infectious diseases and how they are handled by governments. Not easy viewing.

G is on half-term this week, which is perfect as she can attend the WeFi summit we've both registered on without having to reschedule any classes. It means two very full and intense days though, so I best get on and get what we need ready for the week.
