Adverse conditions
A text came through early on to say that the MK campus was closed for the day due to adverse weather. It seeemed to be much worse down south; I made it down to Tyneside without difficulty. I donned the Yak Trax to get across a snowy carpark, but the snow was rather too wet and slushy; they're better on ice.
I went back to the station earlier than usual, braced for unscheduled alterations and cancellations. Our train was only twenty minutes late, though, in spite of having travelled all the way from Penzance. On the way back I noticed the brakes were occasionally being applied quite hard - but I relaxed after recalling youngie66's helpful explanation of this!
So when I got out of the train at Waverley it was a pleasant surprise to be able to greet the man himself, just getting in to the driver's cab to take the train on to Glasgow. I didn't think to blip him - mind you, I suppose I might have been wrestled to the ground by a security man for taking a photo!
So all I found in the camera was this. What look like strange clouds are just reflections in the window. And the location is approximate.
