Laptop windows

I had promised to send my proposal to the potential Berlin supervisor by Thursday, so straight after work I dived into the library and did the most productive 4 hours. Time pressure is sometimes very effective!

At 9.30, Rory arrived from the airport and luckily the Italians had cooked because I was going to offer bread and cheese. He has a mock presentation on Friday and then will present the results of his thesis (which are great!) to the whole department on Monday. 
Everyone in the house needed to have a two month catch up with Rory, so the night stretched out until I fell asleep.
