The project

Finished my project for this week.. a clamshell box to hold my mom book ( today is her birthday!,, .. in 1906). that I finished and blipped Dec 8th. (HERE) Never made one before but there are lots of directions on the internet.   Very fun. The best part was learning how to make book binding paper out of the monogrammed  linen napkin I wanted to use.  Glue sumie paper to it. 
It’s not perfect but it will be a good protective case for it. 
Cathy and hubby Peter came for a sauna ( well Cathy wanted the sauna , Peter who is recovering from hard Ca treatment, had a wee nap. )  then drinks and goodies and they are off to meet their son coming for the weekend....and we’re getting ready to leave in the morning.   Binging Harry Potter movies this week ..so far we’ve just seen 4 but it’s a lot better than the bits and pieces we have seen with the grandkids) 
Happy because we get to see one more basketball game of Nik’s tomorrow night.   It’s the metro tournament and they surprisingly are still in it, having won 3 games this week.:-)
