What a nostagia day ....

Seeing friends in Hale gave me an opportunity to take a stroll down memory lane.

Here I am outside the place my folks got in the late 1970s as a base when they moved abroad. We had the ground floor as a pied de terre. We had several family Christmases there and I spent a fab year there in the early 1980s when I was studying at Manchester and trying to get my first job.

What a wonderful day and it was quite overwhelming.
