A toothy metaphor

My plans to use my tooth extraction as a metaphor for exiting the workplace was thrown a slow and small curved ball when the tooth was identified as the wisdom tooth on the upper right and not the top left which I had fixed in my head. Surely the dentist cannot be wrong. Anyway it was not trauma I had imagined and I was surprised that there was no blood at all. I met Islay and Alexander coming back from a walk and he said they give you a shot of adrenaline which closes the blood vessels. The blip is of my lovely flowers. The other notable thing that happened today was that pasta machine arrived and it seems to work

just fine.
