Wild Poppy....

There are still plants in flower in the beds of wild flowers along the Taylor River banks. This red and white poppy is one of many differing colours. There are white ones, plain red ones and red and white ones like this poppy featured here. Maisie and I were out before seven this morning. Quite a lot of cloud about.... Heavens.... we need some rain! Many areas of New Zealand are in drought mode. We hope for some rain next week.
