Bara brith

It’s my turn to take cakes to the W.I. Unfortunately they’re not perfect as the thermostat on my cooker is very erratic now. The recipe was given to me by my friend who got it from her great aunt. My lovely friend is no longer with us but I’ve been making the cake for 50 years.
