Top of the Morning

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellows,

This is me, leaving the house at about 5.55am. It was still pretty warm, even at that time.

Everyone told me it would be a couple of degrees warmer. Just by moving a little bit up the coast.

"A couple of degrees," indeed. It is fecking ROASTING up here. I mean, it HAS been pretty nice weather in Wellington too, but definitely hotter where we are now. 

The house itself is warmer too. It has actual insulation, which is unusual in NZ. Obviously the boys are LOVING it. Rolling around by the windows and looking out at our parched garden.

You'll also be happy to hear that Jasper is doing so much better. He still doesn't spend as much time with us as I would like. But he seems much more confident. And a happy cat is all I wanted.
