The Milky Bars are on me!

It can literally pay to be aware of what is in your purse or wallet.

A couple of weeks ago mam was was out having lunch with her friends when the conversation turned to the 50p being minted for a 'certain event' that had recently occurred. One of them mentioned that sometimes specially minted coins can fetch a lot of money, and that there were Beatrix Potter ones minted a few years ago that were quite rare.

So a few days later mam was getting some money from her purse - looked down - and there, staring back up at her was the little face of Peter Rabbit. The same version of Peter Rabbit that, a few months ago, was bought at auction for £1000!

Mam & dad have come up to Cardiff for a few days, and they brought Peter along for the ride too. Like I would object to that ...
