This is the Russian State Library reading room, equivalent of the British Library. You get assigned a reading room, mine in no. 2 but it’s really cold and dark so I sneak in here instead. This is no.3. No.1 is for professors and similar. 2 and 3 are for anyone I just had the bad luck to be assigned no. 2.
