Does my bum look big in this?

I took myself off down to the horse field this afternoon to have a break from the computer and to see if the egrets are still there; they are! However, they were too far away to photograph this time, so I snapped this pheasant instead. He seems to have been in a bit of a scrape but, apart from lacking most of his tail, seemed otherwise okay.

In other news, Polly had a haircut today. She was clean for about half an hour before, having gobbled her dinner and drunk too much water, she threw it all up over her bed, one of my socks (which she had put on it) and her paws.
