Lethal

Rain on top of ice is bad enough.
Rain on top of black ice is a broken bone or two just waiting to happen.
I kept the morning walk to paths bounding grass areas as best as possible and took my chances with sinking into mud.

The lunchtime walk took a slightly different route from usual (PD was just being bloody minded).
It meant I got to take some shots of different wonky trees, different steps, wee weirs and the view from a bridge we don't normally go over.

With the rain that has been falling I think there will be much less ice tomorrow - but much more mud.
