Chilean Folk Art

Apparently called a mola and collected by California Girl many years ago before Machu Picchu became the Tourist Attraction it is now.

The image consists of pieces of scrap material carefully cut, assembled, sewn and embroidered.

Now displayed in the part of our house which also functions as the kitchen.
