Heather Lintie....

the Scottish name for the Meadow Pipit, in the snow this morning. Much of the snow has disappeared and a few miles away from home there is nothing.
Had a lovely walk along the frozen loch but it was not cold because there was no wind at all. The noise of crunching on the snow seemed so loud and carried right across the water/ice.
