Let it Snow !!!!!!

Well we got more snow through the night and it snowed all day too but not enough for school to shut Yeah :-)

I did promise I'd take the kids sledging after school so after getting changed out of uniforms we ventured down to the local park and hit the slopes.

We hadn't been there long when hubby rang, he'd been let out of work early and was heading down to join us.

All was going well until Alex slid down the hill, skidded sideways and landed splash in the middle of a rather large, rather deep muddy puddle. He managed to climb out drenched head to toe but Phil had to wade in to retrieve the sledge.

Phil then took Alex home and I stopped chatting with a girl I knew when Kate was a baby from the local Surestart new mum's group back in 2004/2005

We stayed until it went dark then headed home for Minty hot chocolates to warm us up
