Had a long talk with our district nurse today about new challenges that seem to arrive daily.
When Mr P came out of hospital at the start of January his life expectancy was measured in days ... tomorrow he will have been home for six weeks.
He has stunned all the health professionals.
The outcome is still the same but his care package will change from a fast track team to continuing care
So lots to think about : the district nurse has told me it’s time accept more of the help that’s offered from outside agencies instead of trying to do everything myself.
