Dee Estuary

Today's the day ………………………….. for the call of the curlew

A cold day - but good to have a bit of sunshine.  We went for a walk in the late afternoon along the estuary where it was very peaceful - just the occasional sad call of the curlew to be heard. 

The good news is that this picture was taken just after 5.00pm - so the days are getting noticeably longer ………………...
