Stay away!

Again the blackbirds were in charge at the feeders today. Only stepping down for squirrels, who are in fact the ultimate masters!

There was no photoshop trickery involved here in obtaining this almost white background. In order to expose correctly for the blacks my lighter tones were way over exposed. I kind of like this effect. It manages to isolate the bird completely and make it look even more menacing :)

One thing I noticed about this chap is that he beak was not a vibrant orange like all the rest. To those that know does this mean he is a young or old bird?
