Snow Cloud And Seaside
It was such a nice sunny morning that we arranged to join a friend in Galashiels for lunch. As we set off a few snowflakes drifted down, closely followed by several million more, most of which began to settle on the road. As we travelled a matter of half a mile from home in this blizzard we reasoned that a journey down the A7 across the moor seemed a little foolhardy, phoned our apologies and returned home.
A few hours later on it had all seemed like a dream so drove down to Portobello for a trot along the Prom and, though large snow clouds were in evidence, their load was shed elsewhere.
