The last token

I went up to Blackwells to spend the last of my birthday tokens - came away with a fine haul. An OS explorer map of Edinburgh (it includes a fair bit of the Forth inc. Inchcolm!), a pocket Gaelic-English dictionary, and a nice little hardback copy of Lucretius' "On the Nature of Things".

The weather continues to be fairly atrocious ( lots of sleety squalls) so I was pleased to get a no 35 bus all the way home. Managed to snap the new(-ish) ghost sign that has appeared over what used to be a shoe repairers (?) at the foot of Easter Rd. I assumed at first that it was Lochend Dairy, but on hiking up the contrast I see that it's Craigend Dairy.
